Intercourse abuse inquiry hears tearful evidence

The father of a boy believed to have been a victim of serial paedophile Dennis John McKenna has broken down in tears while offering evidence at a particular inquiry. Noel Parkin, 68, gave proof on Tuesday at an inquiry investigating allegations of sexual abuse in opposition to young children at St Andrews Hostel in Katanning, in Western Australia's south.

Retired Supreme Court Justice Peter Blaxell is heading the inquiry to decide the extent of the abuse and regardless of whether there was a go over-up in the 1970s and 80s that authorized it to continue.
The inquiry is expected to be completed by April, with a report introduced by Could 31.
